Remote work is integral to our work and by extension, our strategy. It is not a temporary fix, rather a dynamic and adaptive but permanent policy with provisions and guidelines that guide the way we work.
Our Remote Work Policy
A DYNAMIC POLICY
How Our Remote Policy Works
We have been building and scaling remote teams for the last four years and have built a community of over 50000 remote engineers across the world. We didn’t start with a remote work policy, rather consolidated it over time, through systems thoroughly tried and tested.
For remote, culture is conscious choice. We make that choice everyday.
REMOTE WORK PLAYBOOK
‘How well do we work remotely?’ Our playbook is an open system we have to constantly discover and develop.
We don’t believe in monitoring. We are driven and we work best when we set our expectations to become our best.
We are all about being real. Building supportive systems and deep connections through empathy and trust.
As a remote friendly company, we don’t want to be chained to our desks 24X7, we don’t want it for our crew.
Flexible work hours. Individual teams find their own overlap for an hour or two for synchronous sync ups, and that’s it.
We don’t demand constant and instantaneous communication, we encourage our responses to be within a day. We avoid emails whenever we can help it.
When work becomes virtual, tools become the office. The platforms we collaborate through contribute to how we work.
Good stuff comes with the responsibility to keep it good. Don’t let anything out which doesn’t belong outside the company.
All you need to work is a working laptop and a fast and stable internet connection; we provide you all the tools you need.
Security is everyone’s responsibility. We hold our crew accountable to stay conscious, aware and updated.
